HTC Sensation & Sensation XE: Offizielle ICS-Firmware aufgetaucht

Dass das HTC Sensation und das Sensation XE ein Update auf Android 4.0 ICS bekommen sollen ist schon lange bekannt und ein erstes ICS-ROM für das HTC Sensation ist auch schon durchgesickert.
HTC stellt nun Mitgliedern des Elevate-Progamms ein fast fertiges ROM für das Sensation und das Sensation XE bereit. Die ROMs snd für die europäischen, ungebrandeten Versionen gedacht und sollten sogar schon für den Alltagsgebrauch geeignet sein.

To get this rolling, we’ll need you to tell us some information about your device. Once we have this info, assuming it’s all 100% accurate, we’ll be able to push ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) straight to you via HTC’s software distribution server- like magic!

Flash-Anleitung und Download

HTC bietet seine Updates immer als “RUU” (ROM Update Utility) an. Diese EXE-Dateien enthalten also fast alles, was ihr zum flashen braucht. Bevor ihr die Datei ausführt, müsst ihr euer HTC Sensation (XE) über HTC Sync mit dem Windows PC verbunden haben.
